How to read

Contract Risk (𝑥) — aggregated contractual exposure across all clauses, from Low to High. Subsumes likelihood and severity into a single axis.

Territorial Risk (𝑦) — risk class of project destination, following OECD measurand (high — top, low — bottom).

Scope Complexity (𝑧) — contractual depth from Product (simple supply) to Full Turnkey (design-build-operate, e.g. including erection, commissioning, civil works, consortium partner).

Bubble size = contract value. Colour = Contract Risk profile (Low / Medium / High).

Out of Appetite = high contract risk, high territorial risk, high scope complexity. Sweet Spot = the opposite (low contract risk, low territorial risk, low scope complexity).
